Tempo Upholstery secures licensing agreement with home furnishings retailer

HIGH POINT – Tempo Upholstery and Drapery Fabrics has entered into a licensing agreement with Lillian August Brands International to manufacture decorative pillows, outdoor cushions and fabrics with high performance characteristics for both indoors and outdoors.

Lillian August’s lifestyle brand, known for blending periods and styles with color and pattern, will combine her design elements with Tempo’s performance fabrics, pillows and cushions.

The first collection to be produced by Tempo for Lillian August is slated to launch in fall 2022 and will be a signature Lillian August mix of palettes, patterns, materials and textures. This initial introduction will include indoor and outdoor performance fabrics, as well as outdoor pillows.

This partnership will bring the Lillian August brand back into the fabric market, which is how the company started many years ago.
